High Velocity Venting Valve
Installed in cargo oil tanks of tankers, this device protects cargo oil tanks by preventing overpressurization of the tanks during voyage and loading, and by preventing the ingress of flames from external ignition sources through high-speed exhaust ventilation. NIIKURA has NHV, N-NHV and DHV series.

NHV Series:

At that time, set installation with a vacuum valve/VACUUM
VALVE was not considered, so the valve was installed with
three-way piping when installed on the vessel.
Installed on vessels built until approx. 2013

N-NHV Series:
Niikura Kogyo 4th Generation High Velocity Venting ValveFrom
this generation, it is now possible to install this product in an
integrated configuration with a VACUUM VALVE, as shown in the
figure below.There are cases where two units of this product and
only one VACUUM VALVE are installed in one tank.

DHV series:
Niikura's 5th Generation High Velocity Vent
ValveThis model is a product that has undergone extensive
modifications to the VALVE/SEAT/BODY to address pitting corrosion
problems.Installed on vessels built in 2018 or later and on vessels to
be built in the future.

Emergency Shut-Off Valve:
The fuel oil tank is installed above the double bottom, for the lubricating oil tank and the pipe for sucking oil from the heat transfer tank, it is supposed to be equipped with a detent valve or directly on the tank wall. Conventionally, this valve can be closed directly at the mounting position of the valve, the valve is designed to have a remote closure structure that can be closed from a control room.
In addition, due to the amendment of SOLAS 2000 as a device to isolate the fuel oil supply pipe of the main engine and generator of the marine engine in an emergency, if the connection flange is JIS10K or JIS16K specification main valve is used.
