PEINER SMAG Lifting Technologies GmbH (PSLT) has mainly reached its leading market position in the manufacturing of lifting equipment for material handling, process technology and special purpose with outstanding quality, sophisticated technology and quick response.

PSLT grabs can be found everywhere where materials are handled, moved or positioned, and is particularly the world's leading brand for the loading and unloading of bulk carriers. The success story of the PEINER brand began in 1951, with the building of the first grab – a mechanical 200 liter single- rope grab. Today, SMAG offer a complete product range: mechanical four-rope grabs, electro-hydraulic motor grabs, radio-controlled single-rope grabs, hydraulic grabs, slewing units (rotators) as well as a wide range of special lifting accessories.

Motor Dual Scoop Grabs (MZG/L)

PEINER MZG/L are designed for cranes with an electric supply. Depending on your individual crane equipment, the grab can be fastened either directly, or on slewing units or traverse beams.

Four-Rope Dual Scoop Grabs (VSG)

PEINER VSG are designed for all four-rope cranes. From mobile harbor cranes, via slewing cranes and articulated jib cranes up to ship unloaders. PEINER VSG are matched to the rope distances of your crane and fitted with generously dimensioned rope pulleys, so that the rope wear is minimized. They are the key players in bulk handling worldwide.

Slewing Units

In addition to the PEINER grabs, slewing units (rotators) offer a mature solution for turning and positioning loads. PEINER slewing units (rotators) are now part of the basic equipment of almost every mobile harbor crane, but are also used on general cargo and deck cranes.
