REMOTE NOX SPOT CHECK
Annual Nox Spot Check is a procedure to verify that the installed Selective Catalyst Reactor is effective and has the conversion rate to reduce the NOx emissions from the engine below IMO Tier III limits.
There are no limitations regarding SCR type for the Remote NOx Spot Check.
Our principals are able to service you through the Remote Nox Spot check for measuring Nox ppm.
The procedure is simple and cost effective.
A class approved pre-calibrated measuring device can be rented for limited time and be sent on board. The crew will receive instructions on how to download the App and the login passwords. The crew will perform the measurements and our principals will issue the relevant report signed and approved.
The shipowner can use this document to prove that Nox spot check has been performed successfully.
